Charity Tandem Skydive in aid of the Nystagmus Network
The Nystagmus Network is the longest running charity in the UK providing information and support to everyone affected by nystagmus, raising awareness of the condition and fostering research into potential therapies and cures.
Nystagmus is a serious eye condition causing lifelong visual impairment. People who have nystagmus need support in education, employment and throughout their lives. Nystagmus is often present at birth or noticed in the first few weeks of life but it can occur to anyone at any time of life.
The charity is run by volunteers plus two employees. They rely on fundraising to enable them to provide support, promote research and raise awareness of the eye condition nystagmus. With the support of the charity's fundraisers, the Nystagmus Network is able to continue its important work.
