Charity Skydive in aid of The Blind and Sight Impaired Society - BASIS

Since the charity's founding in 1998, The Blind and Sight Impaired Society, known as BASIS, has helped thousands of visually impaired people in South Essex to live independently with confidence and social inclusion.

Their mission however, is to support every visually impaired person in South Essex and they need your help to increase their reach and impact.
BASIS is an independent, regional charity, the only one positioned to support visually impaired people in this part of the Country, transforming the lives of those living with sight loss.

The charity do this through activity groups such as craft making, ten pin bowling and keep fit as well as demonstrating equipment to support independent living. They provide befriending services, emotional and practical support and work to raise awareness of the challenges faced by those living with sight loss.
