Charity Tandem Skydive with The Melissa Foundation
The Melissa Foundation was set up in the August of 2009 to give both financial
and physical help to the rural communities of Africa. They are currently helping
to support the Dagoretti orphanage in Kenya which is home to over 360 children;
supporting both orphaned and destitute children as well as the street children,
offering shelter, safety and warmth to those who need it.
Already they have been able to make great changes in a very short time and
through sponsorship we are committed to supplying remote villages with water
stations, educational resources and tools to help their communities grow and
sustain themselves toward a better future.
Africa is currently home to millions of people who live well below what they
would see as the poverty line; their focus is to deliver aid directly to those
communities, to supply and support the ground work to help them develop and
support themselves in a healthier and more prosperous lifestyle.
