Charity Tandem Skydive in aid of NICE

NICE is a leading UK charity, based in Birmingham aiming to improve the lives of children and adults with neurological movement disorders such as cerebral palsy and Parkinson’s. The charity provides services for children aged from birth to 13 years in its Children’s Services department and through the teenage years and on into adulthood in its Adult Rehabilitation department, providing a whole of life service with the aim of enabling individuals with neurological movement disorders to develop greater active bodily control. Although motor control is a central concern, as a system of education, Conductive Education not only aims to improve motor skills and function but also to transform development as a whole, including emotional and intellectual aspects and instils within people the desire, confidence and self esteem to achieve personal goals in order for them to live more active and independent lives.

The charity’s vision is a society where children and adults with neurological motor disorders have access to the specialist services they require to live more independent and fulfilled lives.
